The door lead me into a race shop and there I was amongst 4 or 5 modified roll cages… pretty cool shop. “uh….Hi… I’m looking for…I mean, can you tell me where…. wait… are you…Reggie Reggiero”
He said “yeah”
talk about a kid in the candy store.. There I was chillin’, with my boyhood racing idol like I just met Superman… He stopped what he was doing and actually chatted it up with me for a few minutes even
What a great guy. We talked a little about my project even, wished me luck with it, and the best for the ‘bowl as he, like all of us, shares the “we can’t lose another track” sentiment. He said he’ll be running again this year on a limited schedule… ahh, what a cool moment – just me & The Reg…chillin :wiggle: So he let me know where the office I was looking for and then he says:
“hey, it was nice talking with ya” and puts his hand out….
I’m thinkin’ “who me… my hand…. dude…your The Reg“…. how cool was I right then…
