A remarkable story of a community coming together in secret to surprise army veteran Steve Barrett with a new racecar when he returned home from Afghanistan in late April 2013. Steve was a Street Stock competitor at the New London-Waterford Speedbowl and wrecked his car during an event in early April 2012, shortly before his deployment overseas. This episode tells the story of how the idea to build him a car came to fruition shortly after he left and the racing community managed to keep the entire project at secret until the unveiled the car to Steve in a trackside ceremony on Saturday May 4, 2013.
